I awoke this past Saturday morning from a dream regarding the battle to hold onto “Hope.” Richard and I were standing in the midst of a downtown area of a large city with busy traffic and pedestrians all around. We had just exited our car to talk to a few people on the street when I looked over toward our bright yellow car and spotted a woman and man attempting to steal it. As the woman prepared to start the car, I first commanded them both to get out of our car. The man passively looked away and I immediately found myself running to him on the passenger side and grabbing his right arm. I held them back with all my might holding his arm, so they were unable to flee. His arm extended like a Stretch Armstrong figure, but I sensed power in my arms to hinder and pull them back.
I was tiring and knew I needed assistance, so I began to yell for help, but no one looked my way or acknowledge my plight. I continued to yell for help, when I looked around and saw two fire engines driving toward us. I began to flail my right arm hoping they could see me, as I continued to hold back their escape. The first fire engine whizzed by me; but as I jumped up and down yelling, the second fireman’s eyes locked with mine. He saw me and recognized my cry for help. He was unable to cross lanes to get to me, but as he drove by, I saw the fireman put on his blinker to turn right at the stoplight. I knew that he was going around the block and return to help me. I just needed to hold on!
I sensed Holy Spirit saying to encourage you to “Hold On – Help Is On The Way!”
“You may feel like you are alone in your battle, weary of holding on and feeling all alone. However, please be encouraged – you are not alone. God sees you! He sees your weariness in the battle and things are going to turn around for you as he circles back to help you. His timing is perfect. The fire of the Lord is coming to deliver you and pull you out – release you and free you from entanglements where the enemy is trying to steal your hope. He will take over and extract you from your situation as you trust and wait on him. Things are getting ready to turn around.”
Be encouraged; hang on to His hope; choose to trust Him and know you are in my prayers and remembered.
