Academic Policies
Course Completion - Courses are set up for students to work at their own pace toward completion. Students have one full year (365 days) of access from the date of purchase to complete/submit course(s) assignments. Students that do not complete coursework within the one year from purchase timeframe will earn a grade of NC (Not Complete) and must re-enroll and pay for the course to gain access for future completion, if desired.
Academic Honesty - Students enrolled in CovenantU are expected to maintain academic integrity and honesty throughout each course. Any form of cheating or plagiarism during reflections will be considered inadmissible.
Grades - Students will be graded fairly on each course reflection using a grading rubric based on students written demonstration of cognitive analyzing, application, examination, evaluation, understanding, and creation of original interpersonal, intrapersonal, and existential thoughts and ideas. CovenantU courses are graded on a 4 point scale (A, B, C, D, F, or NC). Students have one year from accessing a course to complete it. Grades earned will be posted to the student’s CovenantU transcript.
Transcripts - Students may request a CovenantU transcript by emailing The Covenant Center office at: info@thecovenantcenter.com. All attempted courses are recorded on the CovenantU transcript.
Admission Policy
Individuals interested in taking courses online through CovenantU must complete a simple application form in order to create an account to purchase course content. Student information that is collected on the admission application will not be shared with outside entities, and is required for transcripting student records.
Students may complete as many or as few courses as desired; however CovenantU requires students interested in obtaining ministerial credentials to successfully complete the designated course tracks (Ministerial Licensing: Spiritual Roots and Hebraic Thought tracks, including KG 101 and SL 101; Ministerial Ordination: Knowing God and Spiritual Leadership tracks).
In order to qualify for approval ministry credentialing, students must be aligned with and apply the beliefs and lifestyle choices which conform to principles and the word of God in the Bible. An application, appropriate references, and interview will be required for credentialing. Any student who is uncertain about their lifestyle choices qualifying for licensing or ordination please contact info@thecovenantcenter.com.
Financial Policy
Students are permitted to take one free course per track in CovenantU as designated on the CovenantU catalog in order to become familiar with the type/volume of coursework offered through CovenantU. Additional courses are charged at a $25/course rate and must be pre-paid prior to course content access. Once the $25 tuition is paid, refunds are not permitted.
Credentialing (Ministry License or Ordination)
