Richard and I are so thankful for each of you. We continually thank God for you! You are remarkable and chosen people, filled with irrevocable gifts and callings. As we move into this new year, new decade and new era, we know even though the mixture of life will certainly appear and the world will continue to darken, our Father has a future for His people of light. "You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden," Matt. 5:14.
You radiate His light and release His light and life to all around you. He is transforming His people to shine brightly and glow with the beauty of precious stones. The polishing process of removing any residue may seem harsh at times, but when the soft buffing finalizes the last stage, you can begin to see a beautiful and radiant glow appear from these precious stones. I continue to hear the Spirit declare, "It's time to sparkle!" It is time for you to sparkle! Arise and shine! I was recently reminded of our trip to Israel and how majestically the towns and cities radiated such a brilliant glow as they were positioned upon various hills. Even the small towns shone brightly in the darkness in Israel. Each night was filled with the beauty of light across the land. You shine more brightly than you realize!
God knows who you are. He knows your name. He knows what you have walked through, or are walking through. He is with you in your joy and peace as well as in your pain and sorrow. We therefore sing and declare: "Shine Jesus, shine, fill the world with your Father's glory!" May each of you shine brighter than ever before this year, as you are strengthened daily by His love, His mercy and His grace; and may you and family experience a joyful and blessed New Year!
