It is a delight to introduce Cheryl Ward who is an elder and licensed minister through The Covenant Center. She is a teacher and seer who skillfully facilitated The Center’s prophetic art classes. Her dream gives insight into this present challenging season, giving direction, encouragement and hope that God is with us and He has a plan. In His love, In His Love, Becky

Now Is An Opportunity For Intimacy by Cheryl Ward

I had a dream last night and feel led to share what the Lord showed me with my covenant family as encouragement. I dreamed that Jesus came and lifted me up onto a large cloud with him. We began to float across the country and then the world. As we traveled, the wailing, pleading and prayers were a cacophony of sound so loud that I had to cover my ears. He told me that He wanted me to be sure to know that he hears every cry, and bottles every tear that is being shed. He stated that not one person goes without his notice and he mourns with us. Then he declared: I want My people to set an example for the world. and to trust that I am with them in the midst of the battle and working behind the scenes; but THEY HAVE TO TRUST ME. Tell them to turn their eyes on Me and believe that whatever is happening, whatever the circumstance, I have a plan to thwart the enemy and use it for My good. They need to praise Him, not lament.

Being sequestered in our homes is a good thing. Not that the gathering together of His people is bad, but so many of us have been fed like babies for years and this is the season to individually seek His face and glean understanding for ourselves. He has created each of us uniquely and His plans for each of us are good, but also unique to each individual. Rather than hearing from the pulpit, or the prophet, He wants us to seek His face individually and learn how to have a true one on one, intimate love relationship with Him. Now is the time to go deeper than ever before. He is shaking everything that can be shaken, including our faith, our idols, systems and beliefs. Be willing to fight it out with Him. He can take it. He wants us to seek His face for ourselves.

The song, “Turn Yours Eyes Upon Jesus” began to run through my mind. May the following lyrics give you comfort and reassurance that He is gazing at you.

O soul are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There's light for a look at the Savior
And life more abundant and free

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there
Over us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conquerors we are

And turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

His word shall not fail you, He promised
Believe Him and all will be well
Then go to a world that is dying
His perfect salvation to tell

And turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
(Lyrics by Helen Howarth Lemmel, 1918)
