The Covenant Center

I believe today the Lord is also sharing with the community a declaration. I don’t know if you’ve been feeling the shift like we have, but there’s a beautiful shift and visitation of the Lord.  I think it’s probably worldwide, but I know for sure it’s in our community and I’m so grateful for that visitation. It’s a change of seasons that’s upon many of us. Learning the seasons I’m finding out is so important. It helps us understand God’s work in the land and within us. But, I heard the Spirit of the Lord say (and for you who want to claim this promise, we all know this book is so full of such beautiful promises) but He says:

Jeremiah 30:17: “For I will restore you to health and I will heal you of your wounds, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast saying, ‘It is Zion, no one cares for her.’"

And He takes me next to Jeremiah, we all know it, 29:11-14. But the Lord does declare over this community today:

“For I do know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. And I do have plans for your welfare and not for calamity. I have plans for you to give you a future and a hope. And then you will call upon Me and you will come and pray to me. And I will listen to you. And you will seek Me, and you will find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. And I will be found by you, declares the Lord. And I will restore your fortunes, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord. And I will bring you back to the place from where I’ve sent you into exile.”

This is a season of restoration. This is a season of the Lord redeeming and bringing reconciliation. Look for it. Watch for Him. Watch the for the ways He’s doing it. It may not appear to be what you expected, but it will be Him. He’s doing a beautiful thing of strengthening our community, our body, the church and the nations right now.
